Halloween has passed and she's lready packed up away for next year. I wanted to share my little creation. Sometimes I like to get a little crafty. Mostly daily in some aspect. This one took me a week. It started with a head from value village, pieced together with Carol air dry clay, acrylic paint, a child's onsie, fake dollar store limbs, prep on nails, mod podge, fake eyelashes, a pillow, string and a whole lot of love and patience. It started from a vision and a thrift find. Zooooombie, in your head.

Detroit Rock City
A friend of mine came to me and said "Can you turn this into Gene Simmons?" "I'll do my best". This was a tricky little project, layers and layers of black and metallic silver. Long nights and a steady hand were not always easy to come by. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out. I used Crayola magic air dry clay to create the wings and the tongue. With all acrylic paint.
