Β Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! π» He's back (and in triplicate)! First a pumpkin, then some chalk art, and now...a Beetlejuice baby! I told you I'd deliver all three! π Spooktober has been treating me well so far, though we haven't hit up a haunted house yet. Tonight's the night! π I just LOVE the Halloween vibe. Big shout out to everyone who goes all out with the decorating, creating, and spooky scenes. One of my favorite things is cruising around and checking out everyone's Halloween spirit. Sadly, I see less and less of it every year, so I extra appreciate...

Β π Pumpkin Playtime (and a Spooktacular Discount!) π It's officially October, which means one thing: PUMPKINS! 𧑠I've been having a blast playing with these festive gourds, although I'm holding off on the carving for now...don't want any rotten surprises before Halloween actually arrives! This Spooktober has been a whirlwind of creativity β I'm officially on a roll! But let's be real, I'm the worst at keeping up with these blog posts. Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! (and a Touch of Chalk Dust) The other day we took a trip to the Netherworld (aka the movie theater) to see the new Beetlejuice movie, and wow, what a trip THAT was! π€― Beetlejuice has always been one of my all-time favorite Halloween guys. He's crude, he's hilarious, he's a total trickster, but deep down, you know he has a heart (somewhere under all that grime and chaos). He's a little rough around the edges, but boy, does he know how to put on a show! This new movie? Well, it was like Beetlejuice with ADHD....
Inside Out
Chalk Art makes everything better #zanochalk Last week we went and watched "Inside Out 2".Β A very powerful movie. They do a really good job of capturing the brain. The first movie captures little Rules brain, growing up, going through changes, facing tough situations, and overcoming obstacles. The second movie focuses on the changes of the teenage brain facing puberty. I kept looking over at my daughter, thinking omg this makes sense! The rush of hormones, the pressures of fitting in, peers dominating over family, and anxiety.Β For those who have not seen the movie yet. I highly suggest watching...
Monkey see monkey do
One of the things I get to do is create art with kiddos. Each week coming up with someone thing new to create and share. I do art alot despite whether I share it online or not. Always on the go, for work, and at homeΒ Here we made DIy plushies. Which a kiddo once taught me, actually during COVID times. There were only a few children, as everyone else stayed home. We were there hanging out doing crafts.Β For this craft all you need is paper, clear tape and a garbage bag - I've been using the scented small...
