Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! (and a Touch of Chalk Dust) The other day we took a trip to the Netherworld (aka the movie theater) to see the new Beetlejuice movie, and wow, what a trip THAT was! 🤯 Beetlejuice has always been one of my all-time favorite Halloween guys. He's crude, he's hilarious, he's a total trickster, but deep down, you know he has a heart (somewhere under all that grime and chaos). He's a little rough around the edges, but boy, does he know how to put on a show! This new movie? Well, it was like Beetlejuice with ADHD....

Chalk Art makes everything better #zanochalk Last week we went and watched "Inside Out 2".  A very powerful movie. They do a really good job of capturing the brain. The first movie captures little Rules brain, growing up, going through changes, facing tough situations, and overcoming obstacles. The second movie focuses on the changes of the teenage brain facing puberty. I kept looking over at my daughter, thinking omg this makes sense! The rush of hormones, the pressures of fitting in, peers dominating over family, and anxiety.  For those who have not seen the movie yet. I highly suggest watching...

I have all these images stockpiles waiting to be released within this blog but for some reason, I stop myself. Once art became a chore, or another job on top of my other 95 jobs, I stopped pushing it for sale. Instead I enjoy the guerilla art aspect. Creating on the go, on the sidewalk, on a rock, in a tree, doodling, whatever it may be. Then leaving it behind for someone to find. That way someone will see it and smile. Nothing beats the feel of chalk on a sidewalk. Much different then chalk on a chalk board. My favourite is creating nostalgia cartoon pieces, to bring back all the feels.   Here lies Pinky and the Brain. Plotting to take over the world one night at a time  #nostaglia 🐁🌎🐀
