๐ Pumpkin Playtime (and a Spooktacular Discount!) ๐
It's officially October, which means one thing: PUMPKINS! ๐งก I've been having a blast playing with these festive gourds, although I'm holding off on the carving for now...don't want any rotten surprises before Halloween actually arrives!
This Spooktober has been a whirlwind of creativity โ I'm officially on a roll! But let's be real, I'm the worst at keeping up with these blog posts. Does anyone even read them? ๐ค (And don't even get me started on my marketing skills...this website could use a serious dose of something.)
But hey, for those of you who DO stop by, I appreciate you! And to show my gratitude, here's a little treat: use code PICKLES for 10% off your next order! ๐ป
Now, about this pumpkin...
This little beauty took me a good 3 hours to complete (spread out over two days because, you know, paint drying time ๐ด). I'm not usually a big painter โ give me all the paint pens! โ but I'm pretty darn proud of how it turned out.
What I used:
ย * One adorable pumpkin (obviously!)
ย * Acrylic paints in black, white, and orange
ย * Various brushes
ย * A whole lot of patience (Monsters and chocolate)
Tips for painting your own pumpkins:
ย * Clean your pumpkin: Give it a good wipe down to remove any dirt or debris.
ย * Prime it (optional): A coat of primer will help your paint adhere better.
ย * Use multiple thin coats: This will prevent drips and ensure a smooth finish.
ย * Let it dry completely between coats: Patience, young Padawan!
ย * Seal it (optional): A sealant will help protect your masterpiece from the elements. (I didn't seal it but AI suggests you to do so.ย
Happy October, everyone! Stay tuned for more spooky creation
